"Inviting WRI 1 Students into Conversational Inquiry about Writing" featuring Cathrine Koehler
Workshop description:
This session will introduce an experimental WRI 1 project in which students identify scholarly conversations about composing processes, relate and contribute to these conversations in developing a reflexive research question, conduct autoethnographic research, and practice the conventions of scholarly genres. The session will also highlight digital tools to facilitate students' process research, specifically Hypothesis and Draftback. Participants will consider sample curriculum and how activities might integrate into their own FYC classrooms.
