Write! Look! Listen! was founded in April 2006 by Jared Stanley and Julie Choffel. The Series has hosted locally and nationally acclaimed writers of all creative genres, as well as faculty and student readings. The series is curated by the Creative Writing Committee. We have received funding from the McNair Scholars Program, Poets & Writers, ASUCM/Creative Writing Club, UC Merced Writing Program, The UC Institute for Research in the Arts, the UC Merced Humanties Lecture Fund, McNair, and the Center for the Humanities.
