- February 4: Faculty Author Series: Dr. Iris Ruiz: Sponsored by the UC Merced Library. Continuing Lecturer, Dr. Iris Ruiz. Dr. Ruiz will discuss her new book, Viva Nuestro Caucus: Rewriting Forgotten Pages of Our Caucus (Working and Writing for Change).
- February 14: The Write In: The first of three, the Write-In offers food, drink and a quiet space for faculty, students, and staff to work on their creative writings-in-progress.
- February 20: Podcasting 101: A workshop with Andrew Burkum: Learn the basics of podcasting! All are welcome to attend.
- Feburary 24: Storytelling for Healing, Business, & Play: A Conversation with Satine Phoenix: This conversation, moderated by John Bultena, will engage topics of Satine's journey, tribulations, healing, and will examine the role and power that storytelling has to offer those seeking to build branding and maintain community.
- February 29: Creative Writing Conference & Collaboratorium: To kick off Arts Week 2020, the 7th Annual Creative Writing Conference and Collaboratorium: Writing Justice will bring together writers and writing instructors from UC Merced and our surrounding communities for a day of creative writing, learning, inspiration and opportunity.
- February 29: A Keynote Reading & Conversation with Marisol Baca. This event is part of the UC Merced Creative Writing Collaboratorium. The reading is free and open to the public.

- March 1: Vernal Pool Submissions Close.
- March 6: Podcasting 101: A workshop with Andrew Burkum: Second opportunity to learn the basics of podcasting! All are welcome to attend.
- March 7: The 24-Hour Play Project: Part spectacle, part theater, and part sporting event, in the 24 Hour Plays, 6 ten-minute plays are written, rehearsed, and performed within a 24 Hour period.
